Marley Eve Shelton was born on April 12, 1974 in Los Angeles, California to Carol and Christopher Shelton. Marley and her three sisters (Koren, Erin and Samantha) grew up in Eagle Rock, California – an artistic neighborhood in northeastern Los Angeles, California. Growing up, both of her parents were involved in local theater projects, but Marley was never interested in life on the stage. She chose to do “normal” teenager things while at Eagle Rock High School. She was a varsity cheerleader, was voted Prom Queen and held part-time jobs at stores like Contempo and Wet Seal. Her high school prom date was with her boyfriend at the time – “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” actor, Nicholas Brendon. For college, Marley attended UCLA where she majored in Film and Theater.
Marley is an avid traveler and has visited countries throughout Asia, South America and Africa. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband Beau, daughter West and their two dogs, Jackson and Bella. (Which are Pit Bull/Tosa mixes from the same litter)
